This locally listed building was in a poor state of repair and a shadow of its former self.
Our client enlisted us to provide architectural services for the restoration and refurbishment of the front building for a new bar and restaurant use.
The new restaurant has been designed to appeal to a wide clientele including High Street shoppers, local workers, families and couples during the daytime, evenings and weekend.
The building exterior, including the yellow and red stock external brickwork, slate roof and period shop front have been carefully restored by specialist subcontractors under close supervision of SKArchitects.
The new interiors feature a refurbished glass roof over the new mezzanine, bespoke internal timber windows, exposed feature brickwork, new front bar counter, drop chandeliers and leather seating.
